Branson Arts Council Brings Events, Entertainment to Downtown

For those with a love for and appreciation of the arts, Historic Downtown Branson has so much to offer, thanks in large part to the great work of the Branson Regional Arts Council. Now based in the Historic Owen Theatre on Commercial Street, the arts council and its many talented volunteers and performers provide must-see entertainment and enrichment for locals and visitors alike.

Here is everything you need to know about what the rest of 2018 has in store for the arts. There’s everything from classes for the kids, musicals and entertainment for the whole family, concerts and even Shakespeare in the Park.

Legally Blonde: The Musical
Historic Owen Theatre

Based on the 2011 film, this production has a mix of humor and a great display of a young woman’s determination to succeed despite everyone’s doubt. This is a PG 13 production.

Suessical Jr by Youth Troupe Institute
Historic Owen Theatre

Open registration for children 6-18 years old who are interested in learning acting, production, team building and confidence skills that will last a lifetime. Theatre professionals work alongside the students to explore every aspect of putting together a great production, with performances by the students at the end of the class.
Registration fee: $125 for non-members, $25 for BRAC members/ per student

Fortes production of Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare in the Park

The age old tale of feuding families and young star crossed lovers and their tragic love. Outdoor venue. Tickets available online.
